We're the founders of Diep Dive Films. This business reflects our own passions and we're incredibly proud to be a part of it. Our backgrounds have a big impact on how we do things today. Here's a bit about us and how we met! :)

WE’RE SO HAPPY YOU’RE HERE.

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Lane was immersed in the world of photography and videography from a young age. With a photographer and videographer for a father, he naturally developed a passion for storytelling but found his own niche in video narratives. This love for visual storytelling eventually took him to Canon City, Colorado, where he helped out at a summer camp in 2020. An avid snowboarder, Lane has also worked as an instructor at various ski resorts, combining his love for adventure with teaching others how to carve down the slopes.

Kristin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Kristin has a passion for helping others, being a listening ear, and being a voice to advocate for people. Which is why she set on her journey to become a nurse. She attended UTMB nursing school and after graduating, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Austin, Texas. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she longed for more time outdoors and decided to relocate to Colorado Springs in 2020 to embrace the state's natural beauty. The move gave her the opportunity to connect with nature while continuing to contribute her skills as a healthcare professional.

So how did we meet? We met in Colorado shortly after we both moved there in 2020 and quickly discovered a shared love for the outdoors. We got married in September 2021 and have since built a life rooted in faith and exploration. Our belief in God plays a central role in our journey, providing us with strength, purpose, and guidance. Our two dogs, Apollo (a Golden Retriever) and Gamble (a Rough Collie), often join us on adventures that include traveling, hiking, snowboarding, paddleboarding, and camping.

In early 2024 Kristin left her nursing job and has been able to be a part of Diep Dive Films full time. During this time, we also rebranded our film business to reflect our shared desire to tell genuine, impactful stories that resonate deeply with audiences. We find immense joy in listening to people's experiences and translating them into authentic, visually compelling narratives. Our ultimate goal is to create feature-length documentaries that capture powerful stories while also helping brands and businesses thrive through meaningful marketing.
